Shouldn’t marriage contract have expiration date? You know what? Why not let the couple (or whatever number of people that want that) to decide? Say 1 day, or 1 month, or 1 hour. Ups, it’s illegal because that’s effectively prostitution.
Marriage is a death horse now. It’s restrictions outside marriage that is the problem. Say a girl, as many girls, are attracted to Justin Bieber. Say the attraction is mutual because males are promiscuous assholes that want to grab many women. Would society let it?
For every male that get more than one, there will be another one shagless. Actually that’s not true, but that’s what most people think. Also the reasons why it’s not true are all politically incorrect and blocked. Those are things like some people are gay, many males love porn and prostitute instead, plus foreign women from poorer countries.
So in every society, pretty much override individual’s choice under the pretext of religion, protecting honor, or it’s what all men/women want anyway, or whatever.
In Arab it’s sex outside marriage is illegal. In western world, it’s polygamy that’s illegal.
The former ration females to those favored by religious leaders and the latter ration females to single voters. In neither culture, women are truly free to choose their mate.
If women are truly free, too many will choose Bieber and some argue that we won’t have a stable society. So politicians just make rules to keep single voters satisfied and maintain lies that everyone can live with.
It’s like Nazi killing jews and come up with lies that jews are backstabbers. So does government make it difficult for women to pick rich best selling men and claim that all women want single anyway.
