Why Should Countries Embrace Meritocracy?

Because if they don’t worst things will happen. Humans are greedy and selfish. Blocking honest productive means to produce wealth will make them earn wealth through other means.

Just look at other countries where governments redistribute wealth. Look at China during Mao.

Why would some people work hard all their life if he cannot inherit his wealth to his children. If every kids have the same chance to succed, why should I work harder if I am not going to either have more kids or my kids won’t have better chances?

What a Billionaire Can’t do Now that the 1900 Millionaire Can?

I think the biggest upset that billionaires cannot do is the most important thing money should buy. Billionaires cannot afford his own biological children without risking his whole wealth. In particular, billionaires cannot simply afford many (say, 20) biological children.

Okay some comparison.

There are 2 types of billionaires. Females and Males. Obviously female billionares cannot have 20 biological children, nor can they do so on 1900. So let’s ignore the trivial case.

In 1900 China (not sure about europe), it’s simple. Have tons of concubines. Have tons of children. Period. It is easily done. Many are actually doing it.

The most idiotic socialistic idea is income tax

I really have a hard time understanding it. Before Karl Marx complain that workers should get full benefit of their labor rather than having to share it with politicians and land owners.

Contemporary capitalistic society is close to that. Look at Mark Zukenberg. He started as a poor student and become billionaires by working on his start up. That seems like pretty pro workers system to me.

Capital owners that buy Mark stocks actually lost money. Capital owners have to take huge risk or accept very low return now due to abundance of capital. Capitalism is ironically far more friendly to workers than capital owners.
