I missed the old Pope. Get back to work Benedict.

Family and civil society come before the state and the state is there only to serve. As was stated in the earliest modern social encyclical: “If one man hires out to another his strength or skill, he therefore not only expressly intends to acquire a right to the remuneration, but also to the disposal of such remuneration as he pleases. Thus, if he lives sparingly, saves money, and, for greater security invests his savings in land, the land is only his wages under another form. Socialists, by endeavouring to transfer the possessions of individuals to the community, strike at the interests of every wage-earner.” This is the so-called “workers” encyclical which did impose moral obligations on employers, but spoke little of regulation.

Should Citizenship be Tradeable?

Like stocks? We know whether companies are managed well or not based on whether stocks go up and down. Perhaps allowing citizenship to have market value will help people judge whether their elected officials are doing well or not.

Also, if you don’t like it here, but everyone else does, just sell your citizenship with high value and move out.

Currently if you don’t like your country you just lost the citizenship. Also war is fought between Israel and Palestines over who should be citizen and have power to vote.

Why not trade that?

The problem is not religion

the problem is not just islam or religion. It’s an everlasting problem. Class struggles if you call it.

Everyone wants to rule everyone else. That includes ensuring that everyone leave everyone else the fuck out alone (libertarian), ensure that everyone pay more money to them (socialists), ensure that no body have fun without their approval (conservatives). Yada yada. Power struggle between slaves and slave owners. It’s never ending.
