We All Need More People on Our Side

But if that’s our only point of view, we won’t see what’s really going on. We won’t see, for example, that we too would at least be very tempted to do the same thing under the same condition. We don’t see that most people would do the same thing. In fact, if very few people would do the same thing under the same shoes, we’re not facing a great evil.

Understanding rather than simple condemnation works better in most cases.

Choices Prostitutes Have

One main justification for criminalizing prostitution that it’s so bad it can’t possibly be consensual.

The thing is it’s hard to fly given that most of those women are not doing it at gun point.

So the angel religious bigots use is that those women are forced out of poverty. It’s tricky to see which one is right given that women often act as if they are forced no matter what the deal is.
