Can You Be Too Rational?

In most area of life where gene pool survival is at stake, your emotion is “smarter” than your rational if, and only if, the goal is to maximize reproductive success. Hell, even religions provide better strategy than rational mind.

Maximizing reproductive success is an important goal because it explains why people behave the way they do. That is, those who are around now are descendants and hence similar to those who maximize reproductive success in the past.

That’s why religious people and emotional people breed more kids. That’s why John Galt doesn’t.

Why Marriage is like Concentration Camp?

In mid 20th century there was these highly industrious smart, productive, funny, ancient and wise people called the jews.

They’re endangered species now. These people underestimated their government’s hatred against them.

The same way today, there are capitalists. Most of those underestimate others’ hatred over them.

The jews underestimated Nazis’ hatred toward them. They think they won’t get screwed. “We are useful to them. Why would they kill us?” They said to themselves. They failed to realize that:

1. The mediocre hate the smart. That’s why Nazis hated jews.

Why We Do Not Consider Stoning and Other Various Prohibition Against Sex Outside Marriage as Genocide?

Namely, genocide against those who don’t feel like getting married.

Imagine of some countries prohibit commies/non commies, or any specific group of people as unfit to reproduce. Then we would consider that a genocide.

Imagine if that country start stoning commies/non commies, christian/non christian, muslims/non muslims, for reproducing (or attempting reproducing ). Then it would be genocide.

Even if members of those oppressed group can simply switch, they may not feel like switching.

What about those that don’t feel like getting married?

In some countries, for example, kids born out of wedlock do not get birth certificate. If this is not extermination of unmarried people then what?
