Does legalizing prostitution lead to an increase in human trafficking?

Yes but nowhere like the way opponents of prostitution and women trafficking want us to believe.

Some background.

Why? The reason why prostitution is prohibited is not there to protect women. Think about it. If prostitution is legal, what would stop Bill Gates from hiring a harem?

A lot of male admit that they can’t compete with more desirable male and argue that it’s the reason why we should keep polygamy illegal. Prostitution is the same thing.

Criminalization of prostitution cause huge chilling effect on so many other consensual acts. Men, cannot effectively support his girl friend outside marriage due to anti prostitution law. Well, some may argue that you can. You can’t pay her cash but you can pay her rent, etc. But who knows how the law goes?

What about women trafficking? It’s the same thing. Women trafficking is there to protect, oh well, women. However, it’s not there to protect trafficked women. Women trafficking is there to protect women in rich countries from having to compete with cheaper and prettier women from poorer countries.

In other word, even if all trafficked women are happy having sex with richer guys, I would bet that many women would still oppose this so called women trafficking. They have enough huge motive to prohibit trafficking irrelevant of consent. It’s the same reason I know why MANY males have huge motive to prohibit prostitution and polygamy irrelevant of consent. It’s the same reason why I believe robbers have huge motive to well grab your money, irrelevant of whether God or you like it or not.

There are true motives, there are justification. The latter can be anything. The motives most easily explained away from selfishness is obviously the most correct. Humans, after all are very selfish.

The majority of so called trafficking is VERY consensual. I mean it’s very obvious. One can more easily argue that marriage is less consensual than trafficking and prostitution.

After all, why would anyone allow government to be the pimp of their sexual relationship with no force whatsoever. Why would any rich male want to bet half his assets for a woman? And why would most women choose to be the only one for poorer males than sharing a richer males?

Imagine if all kind of marriage and all kind of commercialized sexual relationship is legal. Would anyone still get married? How much?

Many culture have restriction against sex outside marriage. Society actually prohibit prostitution and yet women do it anyway. That’s how much many women want to be prostitute.

In Afganistan women can’t even work outside marriage. If you don’t count marriage in Afganistan as forced marriage -> forced sex -> rape, I don’t know what is.

If a robber says you can’t leave until you pay, we will all agree that the paying is not consensual. In most cultures, government effectively say you can’t have sex outside marriage. Even in US, you can’t easily support your mate outside marriage.

Does legalizing prostitution increase women trafficking? Again, this is another vague language that’s hard to answer. Imagine if prostitution is legal. Imagine if women trafficking include consensual women trafficking. Of course it does. When things are legal, then more people would want to do it. When it’s illegal, women have to pay a lot for pimps. When things are legal they get more. All the money that used to go to the pimp will go to them.

So yes more will want to do it. However, it’s no where as what those anti freedom people want us to believe.

It’s like asking if government stop tariff against import goods will there be more import goods? If government make iPhone legal, will there be more iPhone? Yes. It’s the way it should be.

Common sense dictate that fair means equal pay for equal result. That kind of fairness happen naturally under free market mechanism. Essence of racism are then more pay based on race.

For example, if the race is white, racism means more pay just because a person is white.

Now I have nothing against white people. I admire many of them. I think people like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Warren Buffet deserves every penny they earn and even more. Yes they get paid more, but they bring bigger result, so they deserve it.

However many white guys are not like them. Many, too many, believe that somehow they deserve higher pay simply because they’re white.

Many bitch about jobs moving to China for example. Well, wait a minute. Equal pay for equal result. If those chinese workers are willing and capable to give better result at less costs, why should the job goes to white? To even think of it is racist.

There are 2 issues here.

1. Is all racism dangerous?

2. Is the issue is truly racism?

Not all racism is equally dangerous of course. I can’t prevent people to think as they please. Even if a KKK member put a big sign saying no chinese are allowed, I would be grateful because at least I know who I shouldn’t do biz with.

If some white guy, because of racism, feel confident and actually perform better in free market out of pride of his ancestor, it is actually a good thing. That kind of racism is not dangerous.

But the idea that even though some guy can do better and yet job must have gone to the other guy just because of race is racism. It’s simple.

Is race really is the issue? I dealed with many people in my life as businessmen. The pattern that I often see is that white people are unique. They have this habit of expecting and demanding higher pay simply based on race.

This is obviously not how free market work. If anyone is capable to provide the same result at cheaper price, a profit maximizing businessman will of course hire that guy. So a pattern that I see is that some white guys often make barriers of competition.

In Zimbabwe, for example, during apartheid era, certain jobs are reserved for white only.

But that’s Zimbabwe. The rest are not like that right? Really?

In US, anti immigration laws are there to protect whites from having to compete with hispanics and asians.

But that’s not racism. That’s discrimination based on citizenship. Not race, one may argue. After all, we are responsible to make a fair and prosperous country too and well Asians used to mess up in this era. Okay.

What about competition barrier against cheaper non white yet american citizen? Do we have that? Yes we do.

It’s called minimum wage.

We all know that black people in US, for various reasons, are on the bottom of salary pyramid. But that’s fine. Free market tend to take care of everything. Those who are less capable to be productive can sell themselves cheap first. Overall they build trust, relationship, and experience, and the end becoming rich too.

So how do white guys in US protect themselves from having to compete with cheaper blacks? Minimum wage. Now that’s racist.

I am not a socialist. However, if you want to be socialist anyway, there are many ways to do so with less market distortion and less racism. Milton Friedman, for example, propose minimum/negative income tax, for example.

Why I am writing this?

I do not see racism as something that’s always dangerous because free market will cure all social ills anyway. Globalization tend to defang racism. It’s still there but it’s no longer dangerous. Thanks to globalization every one will be rewarded based on their individual merit.

Globalization to all kind of unfairness, like racism, is like Israel for jews. Anti semitism is still there, but now jews can simply emigrate to Israel. Hence, anti semitism is no longer dangerous.

As a non racist people I am open to doing biz with anyone under any race. Obviously, I can’t pay people more simply because somebody is white. I am not racist. I don’t complain if some guy is racist. However, chance is he can’t do biz with me. At least not under honest terms.

Typical white guy that I deal with seems to convey that somehow they deserve more. On the other hand, they also know that I simply won’t do biz with them if they insisted on getting more. I can’t pay them more as long as there are still plenty of Asians willing to do the same thing for cheaper price.

So what some of them did is to simply scam me. They tried to renegotiate the term after the deal and the whole work done, and when I refused they simply ran away. In return, I simply destroyed their life. Out of 6 I dealed with, only 1 paid as agreed without making excuses like taxes, high living costs, office expense, etc.

Guess what, a lot of white guys think I should have just move on. That’s racism. Why should I move on against somebody that scammed me? Because I am not white?

I kept pondering and asking why the scam rate is so high when I am dealing with whites as opposed to fellow asians. Then they accused me of racism for thinking that white guys tend to be like this.

Prostitution is effectively a privatized marriage. Prohibition of prostitution is then a price control. Plain and simple.

In prostitution women’s right of her body is respected. She decides the price, which will be very high if legal given that all the richest males would bid too. She decides who she can mate with. If she only want to sell her self to Brad Pitt or Bill Gates, rather than to someone single, it’s up to her. If she wants to give discount for richer smarter taller men, it’s up to her. If she wants high salary with no severance pay, it’s up to her. If she want her mate to only pay for his children, in exchange of getting richer mates that are willing to pay more, it’s up to her.

Everything is up to her.

In marriage, she decides little. Government, rather than consumers, or often religious leaders, decide who she can mate with and on what terms.

In Taliban women can only marry Taliban supporters. So the Taliban is effectively the pimp of all women for they, rather than the women, decide who and on what terms women can mate.

In US, she can only marry single men, which usually of lower quality for not being able to attract even a single mate. Same reasoning. Congress has effectively become the pimp against women’s wish.

Marriage means women need to charge less to poorer males. A housewife is a job with low salary and high severance pay. What kind of job have that kind of arrangement? The one whose deal made by government rather than consenting parties.

That effectively kick the rich out of mating market. As all price control, it causes market distortion and inefficient allocation of resources, which leads to poverty. Now, this market distortion is the biggest market distortion ever. It’s virtually the single cause of all poverty in the world.

The mere act of pointing this out will often meet harsh ad hominem attack by facists for no logical reason.

NB: My maid’s sister got married and the husband just left leaving debt. It’s not even illegal. The law does nothing against that type of behavior. I saw many poor kids begging on the street. It’s NOT illegal to beget kids into poverty. Yet when some rich males consensually attract women on terms they agree, it’s a crime.

My class mate got married. She wanted a divorce but her husband does not let her. That’s what marriage really is in most countries: Legalized rape.

Why not let the women decide? Because those in power don’t like what
free women will decide. Just like slave owners do not like slaves
deciding to be free, the same way powerful politicians do no want us to freely decide terms of our consensual arrangements. When we choose, we don’t choose them. That’s why.

To persuade women to agree to get married, quite obviously those rapists need to prohibit better arrangements. In Taliban, women can’t even work to effectively force them to get married.

So no, I don’t hate women. I do not advocate rape or forcing. But that’s what forcing truly means, taking away all better alternatives under outrageous irrational, and hence naturally religious, pretexts.

Often Fraud or Force is Necessary

Say I tell Brad Pitt, Bill Gates, Donald Trump, and Michael Jordan. “Don’t rape women okay?” Then I tell them further, “If women prefer some other males, it’s women’s right.” I bet Brad Pitt will say something along, “Okay. Sure. Why not.”

Now tell that to some ugly fat poor dumb guy on the street. Or better yet, what about telling that to any normal mediocre men. Let’s just face it. Most males won’t get laid easily unless they prevent women from picking other males. Even if they can, the quality of women they get will be much reduced.

Let’s face it. Many males won’t get laid if prostitution is legal. Many males won’t get laid if sex outside marriage is legal. And if those males are truly fucked up like the Taliban, they won’t get laid if women can work because they are so messed up women would rather work and be single rather than picking them.

Well that’s their problem, say most libertarians. I agree. It should be their problem and we shouldn’t even think about it. It’s not how real life work. Interests of those who are not our target market influence us non consensually. It’s just a fact of life.

In politic, everyone is, in a sense our target market, depending on the size of gun they point on our head. We still need to persuade them not to pull the trigger. To persuade people to do something that’s not their best interest, either force, fraud, or appeasement is necessary.

Hence, persuading Afgan males to respect women’s individuals’ right is just not going to work without fraud or force. Libertarianism simply don’t serve the best interest of those with little or nothing to offer.

Those with something attractive to offer do not need to resort to force to get customers. It’s not to the best interest of the rest, quite often, to get along and embrace freedom.

“You can’t eat freedom,” says a pro socialist guy when I asked “What can we achieve outside of free market that we can’t achieve inside?” Of course I would argue why the hell that kind of people survive in the gene pool in the first place, but that’s another issue. My idea on that is something most libertarians don’t agree anyway.

I must admit he’s correct. Freedom works for those with lots of positive things to offer for others. It’s simply not to the best interest of many voters to simply pick freedom. To counter dictatorship of the democracy, we would need either a tyrant (force), a religion (fraud), or a little socialism (appeasement). Only religious countries can maintain high gini index.

Libertarian insist on not becoming politically powerful. So force is out. Also they do not like forcing religions. So fraud is out. Then they don’t want to appease the poor. Then they insist that the power that be shouldn’t tax or harm them. That’s what you wish. You and what army?

Try telling free market proponents that they shouldn’t use terror and Milton Friedman will say something along, “We never bother to did we?”

Now, try telling terrorists that they shouldn’t use terror. It wouldn’t work. Free market proponents do not need to use terrors. Free market is sexy. It brings wealth to countries embracing it. People want free market. Most Hong Kong people at least.

Now imagine if you want to turn a society into something more like the Taliban. Not even democracy is stupid enough to go there. Certain things won’t work without terror.

To make people do something that’s not their best interest, either appeasement, force, or fraud is necessary.

It’s not to the best interest of typical terrorists to avoid terror.

The same goes for hungry welfare recipients, and most shagless males. Either appeasement, force, or fraud is necessary. Appeasing everyone is expensive. Forcing everyone require mights, which means numbers. Fraud is trickier in our informational age.

At the end, it’s easiest to simply appease those cheapest to appease if we want to maximize libertarianism in any country. By appeasing those who are cheap to appease, we can avoid having to appease those who can’t be appeased.

Typical solution in western society is to appease the poor with socialism, trick the shag-less males with romance bullshit, and fight the terrorists. I think they’re on the right course. What else should they have done?

Now, western society, like any society, overspend money on socialism. That’s because most of those appeasement inefficiently go to hard liners that is expensive, or impossible to appease. Also the money go through politicians first that have intensive to make the problem bigger than smaller. That’s why people like Milton Friedman argues in favor of straight forward negative income tax.

Milton however, doesn’t address the most fundamental problem in democracy. It’s simply too profitable to breed in democratic countries because everyone else pays the bill. Straight forward negative income tax will encourage the least productive members of the society to breed like rabbit. Perhaps, combined with kids’ tax, like in China, things will work out.

Anti Semites often said that Jews caused liberalization, globalization, free market, separation of church and state, and individualism. Hell, I thought that way too.

I was disappointed after further research. Come the fuck on. The idea that the best governments don’t govern much has been around since Lao Tze 2500 years ago. Adam Smith is not Jews. Democracy, is invented by Greek. Americans are not founded by Jews. Separation of state and religion has been around since pax mongolica. All those things could have happened even without Jews..

Humans can achieve globalization, free market, and the rest even without Jews’ help. Well, how much slower I don’t know. Yap, we don’t need those Jews just to see that free market works and globalization rocks. We just need common sense and some calculus to show that the marginal rate of substitution for resources among individuals is properly aligned to social welfare in a relatively more free economy.

Then I’ve heard in some skin head forum on how Russian farmers got driven out of biz because they cannot compete with Jews.

I don’t know the detail. But again, we are giving Jews too much credit for driving out inefficiencies out of biz.

Anything that can’t compete is supposed to go extinct. That’s the way of the market. The market way is of course the way. If Jews don’t drive those incompetence and relatively inefficient biz out, the Chinks, German, Italian, British, American, Japs, Protestants, Henry Ford, and Bill Gates will.

The world belongs to the best. Those who are not the best are supposed to go out. If no fraud or force is involved, chance is, there isn’t even any victim.

If those who can’t compete don’t go extinct, we will still be plowing the field with our hand. It’s totally victimless and natural. Can’t give credit for Jews for something that’s already normal.

Jews political skill is also quite pathetic. Imagine, there are more Jews that died during word war 1 for German side than any other ethnic group. There are higher percentages of German Jews that die for German than German Germans. Why die for some guys that will kill you latter?

I’ve heard they control the media and owned banks. I used to believe that you know. I mean under capitalism, it’s natural and fair that those who are dilligent and smart ended up owning banks.

At that time, I tried hard to find some Jews to do biz with so I can get connected with someone that own banks.

One Israeli Jews told me that he had a big biz. Yet he had trouble buying 30 domains for autoblogs. I ended up giving him discount because I like his spirit.
