How do we motivate others? By telling them that somehow their utility function will get maxed out if they do what we want. Their utility function is their “purpose” and gene pool survival fit most humans’ utility functions. Humans behave as if all they want is to reproduce.

Let’s see this from a different angle. What your enemies do not want you to do? Have sex. Why religious bigots don’t want us to have free sex? Because they know it’s the purpose of life and they want us out of it.

It’s the principle of war according to Sun Tzu, grab what your enemies value most. Whatever hurt your enemies most are what’s good for you.

However, if I work hard, what for? To make money. What makes money for? To attract women so I get laid.

If I become famous. What for? So women know me and I get laid.

What do humans do or anything that makes you feel good, that somehow, don’t lead to reproduction, somewhere down the road, with significant probability. What makes us happy is decided by our genes. Genes that are common nowadays are genes that successfully reproduced in the past. That genes share the same exact preferences now. To reproduce.

There are spiritual men that says, that life has many “meaning”. Our souls incarnate (materialize) for many reasons. One of them is sex, the rest are not important.

And is there any reason why that spiritually enlighten men, called the Americans, are less credible than Jesus, Moses, Muhammad, Krishna, Buddha? I mean they make the most money and have the most advance technology. If there is anything to learn, it would be from them.

The Hindu believes that Khrisna once ruled the world with perfect justice. Well, I suppose archeologists will soon find Play Station 6 somewhere in ancient Hindu’s civilization. I mean perfect justice means that individuals interest should be perfectly aligned with productivity. I bet they must have found insurance market, risk market, derivatives, commodity market, and internet marketing by that time. Do they? Looks to me their idea of justice must be pretty vague isn’t it? What does justice produce? Money? Prosperity? Proper alignment? What?

The greatest danger of religion is to make people believe they know everything while they don’t while scientists know so much yet understand that there are still many to learn.

What makes you happy? Women. Well, money and power, but why that makes me happy? Because males that have money and power are those who are getting the chicks (at least in ancient time) and the genes that make people happy when they have money and power proliferate.

Why the baghdadnese are sad when they get slaughtered? Why the mongols are happy conquering the world?

Get slaughtered means you’re out of the gene pool. Conquering the world means you successfully reproduce.

Why bible tell Jews to raid neighboring countries kill all the males and rape the females? Because that’s the way to successfully reproduce. Whoever write the bible must have known that it’s the way motivate men to risk their life killing other tough males. How else can we motivate people? Sex. Of course. Lots of sex if you do what I SAY, either here in this world, or somewhere in other world.

Deep inside, that’s what all men want, sex and more sex. Religious leaders know how to lead people. So they know how to motivate them. The basic premises of many religions is that somehow you get more sex if you do what I want and shouldn’t try to get it through any other mean.

And why religions don’t want us to think about sex outside that framework? Because that’s how THEY reproduce, by telling us to slow down so they can outrun us and kill our descendants. Religious bigots are effectively “moderate” Nazi that don’t have their chance yet.

What do MOST males do when they CAN? Get as many women as possible and fish them all. Watch out the when they CAN. Most males don’t do that because they CAN’T. Because they CAN’T, they said they don’t want it anyway because what’s the purpose of wanting something you can’t? If I say I want to make 1000 of kids, maybe some other males will kill me before that happens.

So I just say I want to be a monk. Then people would respect me, pay me money, and secretly, I bang their wives when I can get away with it. That’s what males do.

Religious bigots want to enslave us right? How? But controlling our destiny. What do religious bigot try to control? Our sex life. The only thing that matters. Sometimes religious bigots talk about economy too but they don’t do that a lot. They don’t understand it and not very effective to control the mass.

Let’s put it this way, anything worth doing worth overdoing right? So. Do you want to go extinct? Will that drives you mad if you go extinct? Imagine a government come to your door cut your testicles so you can’t make your kids anymore. Imagine for a while that it’s what really happen to you. Imagine if you have been in concentration camp for years.

Now, open your eyes, tada….. Your cock is still there. You can still make many kids. Sperm banks are 100m away. What would you do? The opposite of what makes you sad. What will make you happy.

Anything anyone do is for procreation. What else you want to achieve in this world?

Richard Dawkins’ selfish gene is what I mainly based my e-book. The other is red queen by Matt Ridley.

The idea is that the gene it self is selfish and persuade their host, namely us, to proliferate the genes. Effectively all human traits and preference can be explained as those that maximize their offspring.

Hence humans “love” themselves, their immediate family, those who are “similar” to them, those who are useful to them, and so on.

The red queen says that what matters is not how fast we run, but how far you run relative to everyone else. So monogamy is just stalemate. Enforced stalemate actually. Something that’s not natural if we understand Richard’s theory.

I am very technically minded.

It explains why democratic countries often have monogamy norms and monarchy has polygamy norms. Marriage is socially “approved” relationship and hence tend to ration sex partners in proportion to power. In free sex, the attractive is the one had it running. In marriage the “powerful” gets better deal (relative to free sex). In monarch, the powerful king get more babes. In democracy, the mob want to ration females in equal share for everyone and have their way.

Of course if the “powerful” have their way everyone will aim for power and that means we’ll kill each other. Power is almost a zero sum game. The more the “state” and whoever control it have, the less power you have for your self. Some power is unavoidable, hence why everything else is worst than even the lawsy democracy.

In fact, women’s consent matters much less than we think. If women is free to choose, they all pick the alpha males and the rest go extinct. No countries are that “free.” Key to winning is to go below everyone else radar. Hence various illicit sexual relationship we have. Prostitution is illegal, but escort is legal. We can have our way as long as we don’t challenge societies prejudice that “No women are willing to do it for money.” The truth is most women will and that’s why prostitution is illegal.

The nash equlibrium is another thing from game theory. It’s a state where everyone maximize their profit when everyone else is maximizing them. There are many nash equilibriums. It explains why we walk in the left while you walk in the right even though our genes are 98% similar. It explains why you are democracy while Iran is not (hint, both are Nash equilibrium).

It explains why believes are self fullfiling. If everyone else do A, my best response is B, so I do B, after that I hope everyone else are indeed doing A because if they don’t, B will not be a good deal anymore. It explains why machiavelli suggest not changing the rules once you conquer a country. It explains why Christianity’ norms simply reflect the culture where it spreads. It explains advantage of doing what everyone else expect you to do.

When people steal my stuff, everyone else expect me to move on. That’s nash equlibrium. Doing otherwise will pissed of a lot of people that are used to tolerate thieves. However if all of us hit back, people will get used to the fact that thieves “had it coming”. Soon, even when someone kill thieves, societies will tolerate that because it’s what they expect. People hate surprise.

As for vengeance. Well, why capitalists pay tax? Because we don’t kick butt. It’s the same reason why Jews are exterminated. They didn’t kick butt.

Kick butt and people fear you. Failed to kick butt and people will think you’re weak and they screw you big time. They just need a good reason to do it. Let’s see. That’s one main purpose of religions, to show that somehow the innocence is guilty.

Life is a balance of Yin and Yang. Keep kicking but and you can be emperors but can get killed too in the process. Keep yielding and you die too. It’s a balance/complex thingy.

As for muslim occupation, the issue is very complex. There are so many hidden agenda many sides have.

Also, private poverty land dispute is different than country land dispute.

Imagine 2 libertarian countries exchanging land. Then everything remain about the same. Before I belong to country A. Now I belong to country B. So what? No biggy.

Real issue happen when the countries are not libertarian. Oh no, now I belong in Muslim territories. Now I can’t enjoy free sex. Ah Israel captured the land. And Israel? Why the hell it bombs the shit out of Lebanon over 2 kidnapped soldiers? Maybe they want more land. Maybe they want to prevent democracies from happening in Lebanon and be US sole ally.

Life is either competition or war. Many hate competition so choose to wage war. Imagine if you live in land where polygamy or free sex is legal. Well, there has to be some way to channel  the rest of the males that aren’t getting any somewhere. So we have war.

But of course polygamy and free sex should be legal. Monogamy is the main reason of all poverty in the world. The whole point of getting rich is to reproduce better in the gene pool.

The Arabs have the best land in the world with oil and stuff. Israel only got a tiny patch of unfertile land without natural resources and this thing cause wars? Why can’t any side that kick people out pay monetary compensation, arrange some places for the other to leave and move on. I think there are many players that have many hidden purposes about it.

Maybe because I am a chinese in Indonesian land I do not see how land is such a big deal. Land is just something you buy, sell and rent. Whichever government rule the land, as long as it is reasonable is fine. Holy land is just an oxymoron bullshit to justify killing large number of people for what otherwise worthless.

SO basically all morality comes from humans’ interest. Freedom means competition and hence many humans do not want freedom. That means punishing those who use their freedom (with death sometimes) for some purpose that differ from the oppressors best interests.

To gain support they often justify their restriction as if it’s actually benefiting everyone. Often they argue that they restrict our freedom for our own good against our own choice. Those kinds of bullshit require extraordinary explanations that defy verification. Hence, religion. All religions. Not just Muslim.

I mean c’mon. Have you ever heard any fundamentalist christian or Jews that stone people for working on Sabbath or for uttering false prophecy or becoming a false prophet? Any christian fundamentalists demand death penalty for televangelist that openly commit fraud? It’s in the bible but nobody care. Nothing in the bible prohibits sex outside marriage in general or restrict the number of females a male can have. But that’s what all fundamentalists in all religions bitch about. Simple. They’re not getting any. That’s why they become fundamentalists in the first place.

The same way the whole thing is just political game with religions as justification.

Women, within formal marriage, are like natural resources that get divided proportional to political power. In democratic countries like Turki, Indonesia, Europe, US, the norm is monogamy. If you want to share a woman or be shared by many you just have to get out of norm (free sex, outside marriage, concubine, etc.)

In arab countries, that are monarchy, (and most countries where bible, quran, etc. is written), the norms are polygamy. The number of females a male can officially have is proportional to the males’ political power. In ancient China, an emperor could have like 10000 chicks.

Of course that means the rest don’t get any and politicians there need to appease those who are not getting any and desperate enough to commit rape, suicide bombing, or whatever.

Religious believe evolve differently than scientific believes. Facts are not important. What matters is that the believe support one’s prejudice that naturally support the interest.

The fact that they need to resort to such complexity to convince people should raise an eye brow. Perhaps in the past, it sort of works. Well, in the past we don’t have democracy, free market, and all that. Somebody got to rule. Convincing everyone that morality comes from God and can’t be changed make more stable government.

Now, with science answering everything, including morality, which is just one byproducts of humans interests, religious opinions tend to dwell only in minds of bigots that opposes others freedom. If it were true, there would have been plenty of scientific justification. It isn’t true, so they use religion.

The obvious sample is marriage. The real purpose in ancient time is to decide fatherhood, which is of course important in patriarchal society. Fatherhood definition allow proper distribution of inheritance that motivates males to take more risks and work far harder than what’s required to be well fed.

Now, if we want to know who the father is, just use DNA tests. The main reason why people support marriage is to ration females in equal share for everyone. In richer countries, prohibition of prostitution, porn, and sex workers from poorer countries allow uglier women to have higher chance to get a husband she can trample.

If there is any real good reason for marriage, science would have figured that out and the market would have taken care of it. If marriage is good for everyone then everyone will get married and they will make their own term that match exactly governments’ prescribed term (monogamy, life time, alimony proportional to males’ wealth, etc.).

The fact that governments have to prohibits so many alternatives shows that marriages actually sucks for the competitive.

Of course they need justification why you should do what sucks. Can’t do it with science. False scientific justification can and will be disproved. You need something you’ll get away with even if you’re wrong. Hence bigots use religions.

Main purpose of religion is to learn the art of blaming someones, usually through completely irrational reasoning and justification.

Why people argue that sex and violence in media are dangerous for minor? More important question is, “Is it true?”

Well, that’s tricky to answer. In a sense, everything is dangerous for anyone. Any time, due to some random unusual diffusion anomaly, the air we breathe may have high probability of containing high dose of cyanide. Of course, the probability is less than 1 out of 1 billions. Then again, many things that are prohibited out of presumed dangerous for us often have ridiculously low probability either.

Also dangerous can be defined as having some risk on causing bad things. Again definition of “risk” and “bad” can be very vague.

Well, I remember a true story of a boy that got beaten up to death in schools due to beating tradition. When a female professor asked why the beating happen so commonly, the professor says that the beating is “educational.”

Obviously, the one that died is not her kid.

But that fits a pattern isn’t it. When something is truly dangerous, many authority figures will say it’s educational. Perhaps, when authority figures say something is dangerous, we can expect that it actually is educational.

Is sex and violence are educational for minor?

Well, I exist because my ancestors successfully reproduce. Maybe his neighbor becomes a monk and didn’t. Maybe his other neighbors get killed and didn’t reproduce either.

So what factors decide whether one will stay in the gene pool or gotten kicked out? Sex and violence.

It’s pretty normal then that kids are attracted to learn more about it.

Far from being dangerous for minor, sex and violence in media, can be very educational, it’ll be very dangerous for minor not to watch them.

Imagine if my sons become monks instead due to lack of porn. I’ll be out of the gene pool.

But why people say they are dangerous? Because life is zero some game. In zero sum games, you are either victims or predators. Morality teaches us to be the former. So the more something is good the more they say it’s bad and via versa. That’s the reason why people restrict our individual freedom. Because they truly are predators that want us to be prey.

The market is the only fair judge of good or bad. Everything else is just deceptive.
